Remember that post on how to date vintage clothing? There's kind of a lot to remember. I know I can never remember which union label belongs to which decade. That's why when my buddy Christopher suggested I make a little reference card to keep handy at all times, I said--Hey, Christopher! You're a genius!
So, for today's Wednesday freebie, here's a vintage dating reference card! Click to download a 3.5" x 2" little card that you can fold in half and tuck in your wallet so you can always be ready to buy vintage ANY TIME. We all know how important that can be.
Just remember that this isn't the be-all, end-all reference. Dating clothing exactly is preeeetty darn tricky. Remember to use it as a rough guide and nothing crazy. I'm no expert, but I sure do love thrifting, so these are just my go-to tips for getting an estimate.
Enjoy! I hope this works well for you. Let me know what you think!

OMG I went thrifting with my room mate & found this oh so cute skirt that had really cute vintage colors. As I was looking for the size, I came across a little tag under it. I thought....ummm I wonder if this is a tag from that post on Amy's blog...
I am not near the skirt now, but I am so going to check! main point of this comment is to say THANKS for showing me!
I may have to keep this bookmarked on my phone for when I am out & about
Happy Wednesday!
