$2/$5 Thrifty Thursdays: Tops on Tops

Yes, it's still $2 Thrifty Thursday because this week I had incredible luck on my Portland thrifting sprees. Let the super cheap thrifting challenge continue!

But first things first, we've got an incredible crop top found by the one and only Christina of Cookie Louise Pleaze!

Christina found this perfectly perfect crop top for a measly $4.82 at her local thrift shop. Homegirl is right on trend for less than $5. Anyone still wonder why thrifting is the absolute most golden hobby out there? Thank you, Christina!

On the same crop top note, I found this 70s plaid gem for $2 on the dot at Value Village in Portland. They were having a 50% off sale for Memorial Day, so I snatched this right up to go with my high-waisted bell bottoms I got from the Gap. (Also on sale for Memorial Day--$20! Woop!)

When I walked out of my bedroom this morning, Mitch greeted me with "Hey, Tenille!" That was only followed by "Hey, cowgirl!" and "Why are you dressed like a farmer today?" from my coworkers. Some people just aren't enlightened.

I absolutely love the 70s vibe going on with this outfit and the fact that my shirt was $2. It didn't even need to be altered. Score.

That white blur is a cat named Royal who agrees that thrifting is where it's at when it comes to affordable fashion.

What did you find thrifting recently? Send me a picture of your $2-$5 find and I'll feature you here next week!

ps--anyone else as sick of this background as I am? Sorry. The pool just opened up at our condo meaning people are swarming my usual outfit spots. Bumma. I'll work on some location scouting so don't have to be so bored.

pps--I'll be back tomorrow with some pretty pretty pictures from my Oregon trip!
