$5 Thrifty Thursday: Acid wash love
Here's a Thrifty Thursday find I haven't taken off since finding it last week. Judge alllll you want, but I'm in LOVE with this acid wash jacket. I've been loving the resurgence of the denim jacket--it's probably my 90s childhood calling my name. I knew I wasn't going to buy an expensive new one because there are plenty, and I mean PLENTY, of perfectly glorious denim jackets to be found at the thrift store.
This particular beauty was $2. It was half off day at Savers, and I kind of went crazy. I have no shame. Also, here's a pro tip for you. If you sign up for the Super Savers club, you can shop half off sales a day early. Yeah baby!
Paired with this delicious 90s floral print dress from ModCloth, I felt like I was going to head to my BFF's house for a night of 90210 and the Dirty Dancing soundtrack. Would it be ok if I wish that really happened? I do.
jacket: thrifted // dress: modcloth // shoes: Naomi c/o Blowfish // earrings: forever 21PS--since when was there rain in January? So weird. Also, my shoes were completely filled with water after that jump. WORTH IT!
Elsewhere on the thrifting block, Leah from Superstition Vintage found these three $5 finds:

Wildly jealous of those moccs! Did you find something awesome out and about on your thrifting excursions this week? Was it $5 or under and you’re dying to shout it from a mountain top? Send it over to amymorby(at)gmail(dot)com, and I’ll feature you here on another edition of $5 Thrifty Thursday!
$5 Thrifty Thursday: The gifted sherbet dress of dreams
This week's thrifty find comes from one of my dearest and sweetest blog friends: Christina from Cookie Louise Pleaze. This girl is practically my long lost style twin, and she recently stumbled upon probably THE most incredible estate sale find ever. Think bags and bags of free vintage clothing. But I'm not going to tell you details because I think you should visit her blog and read the story in her words. It really is incredible.
Anyway, Christina was so SO sweet to send me this piece from her insane treasure trove to style up, and I honestly couldn't be more grateful. It's goooooorgeoooous and fits like a glove. Better than a glove. It's just perfect.
I can't get enough of the orange and avocado colors--it's like some sort of 70s sherbet dreamworld, and who doesn't love 70s sherbet? Paired with my favorite Blowfish Brandi boots, this outfit was easy breezy with all sorts of that vintage flair that I love so much. Thank you a bajillion times over, Christina! I couldn't be happier with it.
Elsewhere on the thrifting block, Alyssa from Au Courant found these gorgeous, gorgeous Salvatore Ferragamo olive flats for a measly $5. These might be the greatest thrifted flats ever, no? Click here to see her post on these babies.

$5 Thrifty Thursday: Orange sweater and a newfound love for red lips
My obsession with oversized tops continues this week along with a similar obsession with all things pumpkin colored. This week brought a thrifting adventure with my dearest of friends, Laura, and she talked me into buying this enormously fantastic orange sweater for $4. Laura, I owe you one because I have worn it AT LEAST four times since I bought it.
An oversized sweater with a chunky cowl from That Girl Crochet makes for the perfect fall layering scenario. Add another favorite pair of Blowfish boots, and you've got yourself my go-to fall-to-winter outfit.
I should say Laura is also responsible for my recent obsession with red lips. She was wise beyond her years in saying wear it out in public three times before you give up. I was hooked by the second round. Are you a fan of lipstick? What are your favorite fall colors? I need to know!
Elsewhere in the thrifts, Lori from A Little Slice of Special found this entire outfit for less than $4. That right there is reason enough to thrift.
