free seamless patterns!
This whole blog redesign bidness going on in the Morby household has me going crazy over seamless patterns. I was recently feeling inspired by interesting textures as blog backgrounds, and I ended up creating several that I thought I would share with all of you. They're mostly silly--like gold leather, confetti, and gold sequins...and maybe some fur. And that fur MIGHT be from my fur coat seen here.
- Now some of you might want these as .jpgs so you can add them as your blog background. If that's the case, click here for a zipped folder of the jpgs.
- If you'd rather have these as Photoshop patterns for miscellaneous projects, click here for a .pat set.
I wish I could give you a tutorial on how to use these as your blog background, but I use WordPress, which is a little different. This is a good tutorial for how to use them in Blogger.
If you're going the Photoshop pattern route, here is a handy tutorial to help you with that.
I hope you like them! I know I've already used the fur one for my Twitter background. Eep! Gold stars to whoever uses the gold leather one--it's my very favorite!

Free Starbursts for your Blog!
It's Thursday, which means we're one more day away from Friday, which in turn means it's time for a blog freebie! Yes, it's true. If my crappy Thursday is any indication of how your day is going, then I thought you might need these. You know, to carry you through to Friday.
This week's freebie features a set of 16 pretty pretty starburst elements that you can use anywhere and everywhere! As always these are free and open for you to use however you see fit. Credit is appreciated but not required.

Wee! I hope you like them. These are all lovingly designed by me. The chewbacca fur one there in the bottom left corner MIGHT be my favorite. Next to all of the delicious velvet ones. Still completely on a velvet kick!
You can use these little starbursts as a little extra sum'n sum'n on any little picture. Or you could use them as blog buttons or pretty much anything your creative heart desires!

Free and lovely dividers for your blog!
Hello, lovelies. Today I've got some more free blog fantasticness for you. The other day I was creating a list for one of my posts and thought it was in dire need of some fancy dividers. Once I made them I thought you guys might like them, too, so here you go!
You can download those as a jpg and then edit them up in any photo editor or a free online editing site like picnik.
They're a little bit silly, but maybe you'll find good use for them! My favorite are the chevron-esque ones and the navajo print. Anyone else loving navajo print like it's nobody's business this season? I am!
