Here's a quick little DIY/restyle that took me all of 15 minutes. I had these plain jane mugs we got for our wedding almost 4 years ago, and I was feeling pretty over them. Or at least I felt like they needed to match everything else in my house and be a little more tacky and kitschy. Thus, this restyle.
All you need is some ugly mugs, some chalkboard paint, and a brush.
I just freestyled my designs, but you could most definitely make stencils. The circle wasn't too bad to make--I just put my brush in the center and kind of swirled it like a protractor. Not perfect, but good enough for me!
I let my first coat dry for an hour and then applied a second coat. After drying overnight, they were ready to write on and already infinitely cooler than they were before.
Sometimes everyone needs a good old-fashioned YEAH BABY! first thing in the morning with your hot chocolate. It makes the Wednesday morning blues that much easier. Enjoy your chalkboard mugs!

Aww, very cute, and brilliant.
I bought matching anthro mugs for my man and I this Christmas but he still hasn't used his. Haha, that boy doesn't drink coffee or tea so my love of adorable mugs is completely lost on him.
Cuteeee! I once bought beer glasses for my dad that had chalkboard on them....to write your name so no one would steal your drink. I could have made those for soooo much less. Dangit. Now I know!
