Instagram Filters as Photoshop Actions

I've got some fantastic news for you photoshop people. My insanely talented graphic design friend, Riley, pointed me toward some photoshop actions I think you'll all like--Instagram ones. Yes, what you're thinking is right. You can now use those Instagram filters on your nice, non-cell-phone pictures. Rejoice!

All you have to do is go here, to this awesome guy's site. He's the one that created them. I don't know him, but I feel like I love him to death for creating these for us and letting us use them for free. Woop!

If you've never used Photoshop actions before, here's a super fast rundown.

1. Download the action

2. In Photoshop, open your Actions panel. It's this one. (Or you can go to Window > Actions)

3. Click on the little menu at the top of your Actions pane and select Load Actions.

4. Navigate to wherever you saved the actions on your computer and select Load.

5. Your actions are now in Photoshop. To use them, just open your photo and click the Play button at the bottom of the Actions Pane. Magic ensues!

Photoshop actions are the bessssst. The lovely Jill from Lune posted some awesome ones on her blog a little bit ago. These are probably my favorite set yet.

Have fun actioning it up, champs!
