You might see a lot of talk in the blogosphere about fall today, but for the record, nobody is more excited about fall than this girl. Right here. With two thumbs pointed at me. I revel in the autumnly months. Absolutely positively. That being said, happy September 1st!

umm.....not only are these paint by number vans....they're AUTUMN paint by number vans. omg. someone get them for me? please?
Here's a fun little game we'll play to celebrate the triumphant arrival of fall called 5 things. I got it from miz jenny and miz laura, and now I'm officially inviting you to do it, too!
5 things I did yesterday:
hmm...yesterday...so long ago.
-painted my nails a pretty teal. my favorite.
-made pretty little flowers with jenny and lar
-made the best taco soup in the universe that mitch described as "cheesy, spicy, bean water."
-listened to the jenny & johnny album prolly 14 times
-learned to play the darth vader song on my violin. yeah baby.
5 things I wish I had:
-a good pair of oxfords.
-an endless craft budget so I could buy oodles and oodles of fabric.
-a sewing room. with really good lighting and teal walls. and lots of clipboards to put ideas. and a chalkboard wall.
-a bulldog.
-a little more self love and a lot more confidence.
-BONUS: a record player. oh my goodness I want one so badly.
5 things I am looking forward to:
-jenny & johnny show next wednesday! YES!
-belle & sebastian show in LA in October. We're taking the westy out. Do you think she'll make it?!
-fall. with every bone in my body. gimme those leaves and corresponding sweaters.
-reading Mockingjay. I know I'm not cool and haven't read it the first week it came out. Don't you dare spoil it for me.
-a new MacBook Pro?! Mitch? Can I, can I?!
5 things I wish I could do:
-sing like Jenny Lewis. she is a goddess in every way, shape, and form.
-play the cello. and the viola.
-knit and crochet like kristin. she's such a yarn master.
-draw. especially in Illustrator. omg. that would make my job SO much easier.
-go back to school. if only I could decide what to go back for.
yay! now let the autumn splendor begin!

I haven't read Mockingjay yet either. I decided to be kind and let my mom have it first. But if she doesn't give it back by next weekend, I'm taking that sucker from her.
Booyeah! I love your bloggingness.
