it's twilight concert series time, and this year's lineup is a real doozy.
we braved the crowds of an estimated 40,000 to see avi buffalo and modest mouse. i went for avi buffalo, but it was nice to see modest mouse again considering the last time i saw them was 2007.
it was hot, it was crowded, but it was absolutely the time of my life. summertime in slc.
i wished i could have gotten a better picture to illustrate just how gnarly the crowds were. the important thing, though, was that this guy was there:
those glasses + that hair=i wish he was my new best friend.
i also wish i could have gotten better video, but i didn't dare go any closer to the stage--the closer you got the crazier the crowd got, so we just kept our distance and enjoyed the pleasant shade.
