I'm a voracious thrifter, music aficionado, heathen, and owner of a 1984 Westfalia Vanagon. I'm a writer and a designer, but mostly just a secret cat lady. Vanagon Champion is about all of these things with a little bit of thrifty goodness and old-fashioned magic for good measure. Learn more about me here.

random holiday moments
I know it's a little late to be posting holiday pics, and you're all probably sick of looking at Christmas items, but...I needed to chronicle my holiday tomfoolery.
This here is our cute little apartment. Anyone who knows me knows I'm a bit of a Christmas whore. It's borderline weird. So needless to say, the fact that I could finally decorate my own tree in my own little house was pretty dang exciting.

On Christmas Eve, Mitch face and I decorated this killer gingerbread house. It was a $3 kit from Costco and well worth every penny. It even has a cobblestone path. Even though I ate most of the sweet tarts, there was still just about enough for it.

Finally, here's us being retards on New Years Eve with embarrassing party attire provided by the Target dollar aisle. It was our first New Years together and easily the best one either of us has had in a looong time.

On a side note, I have a slightly used Nixon bamboo rotolog watch for sale. I gave it to Mitch for Christmas, but we found one he likes better. It's $100. Buy it from me. I'm desparate. kthxbye.
